Methodology

How an Engagement Works

A proven six-step workflow built for accuracy, speed, and zero surprises — from first conversation to final deliverable.

Workflow

Six Steps From Scope to Handoff

Step 1

Discovery & Scoping

We learn about your project — goals, site conditions, deliverable needs, and timeline. You receive a detailed scope and proposal within 3 business days of our initial call.

Step 2

Capture Planning

Our team plans the capture strategy — scanner placement, flight paths, access logistics, and schedule coordination. You'll know exactly when we're on-site and what to expect.

Step 3

Field Capture

Our crew arrives on schedule with calibrated equipment. We capture all target areas — interiors, exteriors, aerials — typically in a single site visit. Occupied spaces are no problem.

Step 4

Processing & QA

Raw scan data is registered, cleaned, and quality-checked against accuracy benchmarks. Every dataset is reviewed before it leaves our production pipeline.

Step 5

Deliverable Creation

Point clouds are transformed into your requested deliverables — BIM models, architectural drawings, virtual tours, or coordination packages. All built to your specs and standards.

Step 6

Handoff & Support

Final deliverables are packaged, documented, and delivered in your preferred format. We walk through the data with your team and remain available for questions, revisions, or future phases.

Engagement Roles

You Bring the Project. We Bring the Production.

A clear split of responsibilities — so every engagement starts with shared expectations and ends with no surprises.

You Bring

What You Provide

  • Site access and scheduling coordination
  • Key contact for on-site logistics
  • Existing drawings or reference documents (if available)
  • Deliverable format and standard preferences
  • Project timeline and priority level

Don't have existing drawings or documents? No problem — that's exactly what we create.

We Bring

Scope Variables

What Affects Project Scope

Every project is different. These are the primary variables that shape your proposal.

Square Footage

Total area to be captured — the primary driver of scan time and processing effort.

Building Complexity

MEP density, irregular geometry, and multi-level layouts increase capture and modeling time.

Access & Scheduling

Occupied spaces, restricted areas, and after-hours requirements affect logistics and crew planning.

Deliverable Type

Point clouds alone are faster; BIM models, drawings, and tours require additional production time.

Travel Distance

Projects outside the Southeast may include mobilization costs for crew and equipment.

Timeline & Priority

Expedited turnaround is available and scoped separately during the proposal phase.
