The McGraw-Hill Building is a designated New York City landmark with limited original documentation available. The design team needed verified as-built data for a renovation scope that spanned several floors of the Art Deco tower — including complex ceiling geometries, MEP routing, and facade details that could not be reliably measured by hand.

The verified scan data gave the design team a reliable spatial baseline for a complex landmark renovation. Instead of working from assumptions about existing conditions, architects could begin schematic design with confidence that their base plans reflected the actual building — reducing the risk of field conflicts and costly design revisions downstream.
